u2jedi I feel like Steam Deck is just another device to prevent people from connecting with the real world or being able to touch grass. Go touch grass and climb some trees people.

Nicho41 I adscribe to this wish, I already have a lot of apps on GOG, that I really wouldn't want to re-purchase. Even though it is "possible" to install GOG Launcher, it's not fully supported and, most important, it's not OFFICIALLY supported.

ToytonSan Hello, I very very very much would love to have the native Linux launcher of GOG on my Steam Deck. I spent years building up my collection in your shop and love your approach to the games world. I would ALWAYS give priority to your shop but I noticed that Heroic Launcher just makes things too fragile and neither I have proper Cloud Saves etc.. I guess you know the problems.. It would be amazing to just have access to my whole GOG library on the Deck.. Thanks for hearing us out ..

Thornskade My whole problem is that Galaxy DOESN'T work under Proton in Linux. It causes several CPU cores to spike to 100% 24/7 and that causes big performance issues in games and wastes battery life, you're lucky to get 2 hours in a game from 1995 with Galaxy. Super annoying that nobody even recognizes this is happening
noxin I think the ask is simply to add a control control-scheme/ux, since Galaxy works already in linux via proton - plus that way it isn't specifically steam deck, owners just benefit alongside other controller based gamers. Think Galaxy Big Picture mode.
Efeas Hey GOG. Just want to let you know that ever since I got SteamDeck I've found myself buying more games on Steam. It's not even that difficult to use Steam on SteamDeck to install GOG Galaxy 2.0 and its games on it as well, all through Proton, but... It's not intuitive, especially not using controller so it breaks UX a lot. That's why I have bought games on Steam, even though I could have buy them on GOG. Please, really look into optimizing GOG Galaxy to work better with SteamDeck controls and possibly lunch native linux GOG Galaxy, that just install your games through Steam Proton. Really think about it, please.

elfwyn I have switched from Steam to GoG over the years to support the Idea of DRM Free Games. Now with the Steam Deck I wanted to support the trend of Linux as a gaming system. Since Steam OS is a free platform I would be stoked to see GoG create at least a barebones version of the Galaxy Client for the Steamdeck, so I can have all my games in one place again.
gcjr85 We need this!!! GOG please find a way to work easily on the steam deck. An unofficial open source launcher for Epic Games called “Heroic” will be available. Maybe GOG can make a better one that’s even official.
